The Financier proven the best among 6 finalists in KM Conference 2011

The fourth time of “Hall of Fame” event for Ranhill Utilities and SAJ, KM Conference 2011 was held in The Zon Regency Hotel, Johor Bahru recently. This year theme is based on Marble concept, where skills and accuracy are important tools to achieve its mission and objectives. Plus, it is to ensure the continuity of the culture in the organization and as a platform in accomplish most valuable assets in the organization, which is organizational knowledge.

Among the 6 final selections in the final round, the group from Finance department in Headquarters, named as “Financier” defeated their competitors, which titled “Description of SAJ’s Profit & Loss Account Categories”. For the first time ever since the KM Conference starts its journey, a support service department has proven their capability in making their dream into reality.

The KM Conference organized last year has given an impressive impact on the effort to inculcate knowledge management culture as it shows significant influence to the company’s mission.

A pre-conference was held earlier in SAJ Training Center located in Sungai Layang for the final selection to the KM Conference. With total of 14 finalists from various backgrounds, 6 were selected. The awards giving ceremony were held presented by CEO of SAJ, Abdul Wahab Abdul Hamid. Also presence during the conference, are representatives from Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang (PBA) and Malaysia Airports Berhad.
